Single IPTV Mux splits in multiple services

Added by Jens Kammann over 8 years ago

Hi,
I am using the Inverto iLNB which operates both in SAT-IP and IPTV mode.

In IPTV mode, a sample URL

http://192.168.1.xxx/?src=1&freq=11493&sr=22000&pol=h&msys=dvbs2&pids=0,5100,5101,5102,5104,5106

works well using VLC. According the media-information tab, the stream consists of H264 Video (PID 5101), two MPEG audio streams (PIDs 5102,5102), Teletext (PID 5104), Subtitles (PID 5105) and AC3-audio (PID 5106).

Using the above URL in tvheadend (V4.1-1931) as MUX I end up with 4 services (10301,10302.10303,10304) having the same service name. Only the first service (10301) is working when mapped to a channel, but it appears to have only some of the PIDs (Teletext, Subtitles and AC3 are missing). I suspect that the latter 3 PIDs are getting mapped to the additional services (10302-10304).

Is there any setting to force the mapping of a single MUX to a single service? Apart from the missing PIDs having multiple services with equal names leads to confusion when trying to map the correct service to a channel.

In SAT-IP Mode this problem does not occur - however to due buggy firmware, the iLNB hangs every few days (while the IPTV mode continues to operate). Since switching time in IPTV mode is faster than in SAT-IP, I am looking for a solution to the "multiple service" issue.
