tvheadend PVR timer
Added by andy f over 8 years ago
I have an odd problem with a persistent timer for recording OTA TV that I cannot permanently delete. I am running OpenElec 6.03 with TVheadend on Raspberry Pi 2.
When I go to TV > Timer I see the timer that I want to get rid of. I can delete it but only temporarily! After an hour or so it comes back!! If I delete the timer and reboot it comes back immediately. If I delete it and don't reboot, it looks like it's gone but it always comes back after an hour or so. To make matters worse, the timer is set to start recording just after midnight and run until 3 in the afternoon, filling my SD card in the process. I can edit the settings for the timer but those don't stick either, the settings always revert back.
Can someone tell me how to delete this timer? Are timer events stored in a directory somewhere? If I knew where they were located I would ssh into the Raspberry Pi 2 from another computer and delete or edit the file.
Sorry if this post doesn't belong here. I don't know if this is an OpenElec issue or TVheadend issue. Thanks for any help you might be able to give me.
