Import of recorded shows
Added by Stefan Zeidler over 8 years ago
Hello there,
I just started with tvheadend (V 4.1 testing) and set it up to my Synology Diskstation (213j). Before that I recorded tv-shows with DVBLink. They are saved in the same folder as tvheadend ueses to save. Bothe server save transportstreams (*.ts). But using Kodi in section "TV" there are only those recordings tvheadend has made.
It is possible to "import" older transportstreams to tvheadend?
I know that I could watch the older transportstreams with Kodi via "video". But it would be nicer to have all recorded shows at "TV".
Thank you for any hint!
Stefan.

The recorded items can be found in the dvr/log folder. There will be a series of files named with a unique ID. These files contain JSON formatted information about the item. I've had to do a similar process (thankfully for a series) so I cloned one of these files and adjusted the necessary fields to match the right information.
After you have done this (and put them in that location) then you should be able to restart the tvheadend service. If something is wrong with the file then my efforts all ended up in Failed Recordings with the Time Missed status.
Hope that helps.
