Tvheadend

Periodically TVH goes unresponsive and I have to reboot my SBC. When I do so, TVH fails to launch itself in spite of my UPSTART script. When I manually launch it from the command line it starts fine, but I cannot log in - all my settings appear to have disappeared.

Can someone suggest where I would look to see if these settings are actually still on the machine?

And if they are, can anyone suggest why TVH might be failing to read them?

And is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?
