EPG display
Added by Peter Jones almost 9 years ago
I think the EPG display works very well as it is, using filters to reduce the content as required from the around 5000 entries per week. I use the Firefox magnification feature to give me the best font size for viewing on a 38inch tv from a few feet when setting up recordings.
But the default 50 line display is oversize and scroll jumps back to the top after a few seconds. Setting the line count to 25 is fine but returns to the default as soon as another screen is selected. Similarly, dragging the column widths to show the complete start time for example, is not retained after leaving that screen.
Is there a way of changing these defaults or could this be added?
Thanks for all the good work.

I dont think the EPG UI is very well. It would be better to have a complete new rewritten one, separated from the config Web-UI.
For configuration purposes the current Web-UI is very good, but not really for the EPG. Image how positive resonance TVH would get if the UI for the EPG would have a modern state of the art look and feel for the daily usage.
Just saw this effect for serviio (DLNA server software) when they introduced a complete modern web UI to browse through your media and now even the config web ui is done this way.
I best cases a EPG web ui suitable for different devices.
