I am wondering if it is possible for TVH to do on-the-fly transcoding. I ask, because most of my local signals are 1080i, and the effect is quite pronounced on all of my devices. I can configure VLC to fix this, but thats only on those devices using VLC. My platform has GPU-assisted transcoding, so from a performance standpoint I should be OK, but I'm not sure how to set this up, or even it's its possible?
I've seen other threads discussing this, but it's not clear that (a) they are on-the-fly and (b) that they don't recode everything. Any pointers?
