I'm guessing you're using the pre-defined muxes list? They're are so out of date. Your best bet would be to add the home transponders manually and let network discovery find the rest (remove all your current muxes first).

The home transponders are.

Sky:
11778000 V 27500000
Freesat:
11428000 H 27500000

Also check that you have the firmware for your card in /lib/firmware without it it will not work and seeing as you're coming from Windows it's easy to overlook.

I noted that you're naming your Network Sky-UK, Sky is a broadcaster it rents space from Astra, it annoys me something chronic when people around the country refer to satellite as just "Sky". Yes it's a well known brand and broadcaster but it's not the only one using sat!

I know what you mean, I wouldn't mind I dont even like sky as a company, I guess depending on were your from and what age you are you, may even call a vacuum cleaner a 'Hoover'

I have deleted all the pre-defined muxes and added the home transponder and selected network discovery.
I noticed in status I can see that when it scans the frequency it shows a strong signal strength.
The problem is scan results still shows fail.
I have checked the firmware folder, would I be right is saying that the correct file is v41-cx2341x.fw as there are loads of files in there, my car is a TBS6982

Ah, OK you may need to enter all the details for the home transponders/muxes.

e.g.

Both transponders use the same frequency info (change 11778 V to 11428 H and use the same FEC, POL, etc).

Check dmesg for any errors relating to firmware.

Hi Mark, thanks for your help, I think I have managed to resolve the problem now, my card has two tuners on it but I only have 1 sat feed into the the card, not upgraded the lnb yet.
what I did was disable the tuner which had no sat feed card and just enable to tuner with the feed, thats what I did in windows as I had some DVBt cards as well.
Well TVHE doesn't like one of my tuners being disabled and wouldn't tune the other tuner. Also I had to link the 2 tuners on the card inside settings.

After all that I ran the mux scan a few times and it found all my channels

If you have a coax splitter you can make up two extra cables which would allow you to split the signal from one cable so you can use both tuners at the same time. However you would only be able to tune to the same polarization, hi/lo on both cards luckily Tvheadend has a master tuner option, see the adapter Help on the webui for more info.
