How to add to TVHEADEND complete list of channels from selected platforms
Added by Kris Kros almost 9 years ago
Please help me how to add complete ready to import list of channels.
After scanning all channels I'm getting whole bunch of unwanted channels and not necessary EPG.
Probably in some tvheadend config files we have all list, anybody knows where and which format is supported ?
Where can I download ready to import channel list for tvheadend?
Right now I need to import nc+ and Polsat list to tvheadend 4.1.

As far as I can see the only way to import channels would be to import them via the bouquet tab using an Enigma1/2 formatted channel list.
Unfortunately I don't know how that works as I've never needed to use it.

I was looking for this feature ;-(
I think that this could be very useful for many people who are using tvheadend with DVB-S cards.
Comparing DVB-S with DVB-T it is big difference if you count number of channels.
I thing that this kind of feature to export and import list of channels and edit it in other tools (Excel or special editor) could be valuable.
This feature solves many current problems how to manage channels list:
- empty names
- same names https://tvheadend.org/boards/5/topics/8747
- not scanned channel
Maybe there is other tool to manage this problem, if not that is great idea to implement in future releases of tvheadend.
