Json Web service documentation

So i'm wondering how if theres any documentation on how to use the json servvice?
I've been building a Channel Configuration tool for a while and instead of editing the files it would be great to use a web service instead.
What im basically after
- creating channels from services
- creating tags
- adding channels to tags
- merging channels
