Tvheadend

I’m having trouble viewing encrypted channels, with HDHR Prime with Cable Card. Should this be possible? I can view non-encrypted channels but not encrypted channels. The HDHR Live TV app on the same hardware can view encrypted channels so shouldn’t Tvheadend work?

My setup is OpenElec 5.0.8 running on raspberry PI2, using Tvheadend version (from the Web GUI) HTS Tvheadend 3.9.2765~g029488

I've manually added a few muxes frequencies because I could not get the auto scan to populate, but I’m fine with that. The muxes scan creates services but the encrypted services have a blank service name while the non-encrypted channels have the correct service name, the channel call letters like ABCHD. The encrypted checkbox is checked for the encrypted channels. Also the service id field has the correct channel number that one would use on a channel changer for both encrypted/non-encrypted. However, the local channel number field is 0 for encrypted while for the non-encrypted the local channel field is 1008. All the other fields seem ok.

I can create a channel using the service and it shows up in OpenElec channel listing but when I click on it nothing happens.

Anyone have any suggestions why encrypted channels don’t work?
