Tvheadend IPTV Multicast stream server.

Added by Vladimir Chavkvoski over 9 years ago

Hello,

I've installed Tvheadend version 3.4.27, and my idea is from DVB-S card to make a multicast iptv stream (on output) but no luck.
Whether this can be done with tvheadend, or tvheadend can be configured only to receive IPTV streams.

Thanks in advance

sorry but the answer is No its not designed to do that it's to allow single streams to be sent to people who request them.

what your after needs a bit more setup by yourself. have a look at the following guide, it's for dvb-t in the uk but you only need to change some parts of the code to what you need

Hi,

I'm interested on this function. Will be very difficult to implement it?

My suggestion is have a section for unicast/multicast streams. In this section you can select any of the MUX in the database and select one ip address for sending it.

I feel it's a great idea!
