MKV with DVB subs
Added by Dan Haddix over 9 years ago
Hello my name is Dan Haddix and I'm one of the developers for VideoReDo. We're working on improving our subtitle support and one of the things I want to do is include DVB subs in MKV output. Since there is no real standard for this and this project seems to be the only one to actually use it I'd like to model our support after yours. But to do that I need a sample file from tvheadend with DVB subs. Would anyone be willing to upload a short MKV file with DVB subs to our server so I can check it out? Just use the ticket ID "tvheadend" and post a reply to this thread after it's done so I know it's there.

Thanks,
Dan

Hello Dan,
I've attached an MKV (With DVB Subtitles) to this thread seeing as no one else has.
I'm a bit surprised that you don't have tvheadend setup already somewhere seeing as you're in the video editing business, I'd assume you'd want to test out your program on as many sources as possible.
Anyway hope this helps.

Thank you. I considered setting up my own tvheadend system, but since I'm in the US I have no access to any channels with DVB subs anyway.
