Tvheadend

I'm not sure about the current developer support for tvheadend, but I'm seeing more and more "new" issues being opened and staying open without changing status. Is anybody looking into them? I've opened a small nagging bug some time ago (2619, wrong filter type for tags in channel web ui) and never got a response. At the same time I'm seeing lots of commits to master, so people are working on the project. Are they just not working on the raised issues? Selectively? Long backlog? Any info appreciated.
