Scheduled timers disappearing randomly (possibly due to incorrect timers being removed when a Time Schedule is disabled)?

I have observed some strange behavior this week and I have a theory as to what causes it but no way to prove or disprove it. This is in HTS Tvheadend 3.9.2331~gb85ec59~wheezy which I realize is not the absolute most recent version, but due to other more pressing concerns I was not able to install the latest version this weekend as I had hoped, and I don't like to do upgrades during the week in case "stuff happens". So if this issue has already been identified and fixed then I apologize for mentioning it.
The symptom is that timers that have been set up in the DVR AutoRec tab disappear for no apparent reason, but not all of them, it's just a random removal here and there. And it only affects the current week's showing - it does not remove the actual entry under AutoRec.
I do not have duplicate episode detection enabled and in any case I observed this tonight on a new episode. But also, I know this particular timer was scheduled correctly as of at least Saturday night (less than 48 hours ago).
Now my theory is that I had created some timers in the "Time Schedules" tab to check out some times where I don't have good listing data - not that it matters but they were only 3 minutes long, enough to catch the opening of whatever was showing, if anything. And after they had run, I disabled them by unchecking the "Enabled" box and then saving the page. And what it appears might have happened is that every time I did that, it not only removed some timers it had created, but also some other timers it wasn't supposed to remove. So I am going to try not using the "Time Schedules" tab for a while and see if this problem persists. If it doesn't, then that indicates something is wrong with the way timers are deleted when they are disabled in "Time Schedules".
At the moment this is just a working theory but I wanted to throw it out there and suggest that if anyone else is seeing scheduled programs fail to record, think about whether you have disabled or deleted any schedules in the "Time Schedules" tab recently. If you have then just maybe there is a bad interaction taking place there.
