I have installed the latest unsable version of TVHeadEnd. 3.9.XXXX

and it didn't worked fine at my system

Then I uninstalled it.

Now when I installed tvheadend_3.9.379~g6f1b17e~precise_i386.deb again

After this I am getting the following error when I go to

http://IP_ADDRSS_:9981/extjs.html

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 10.0.0.10:9981.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Please help me!

ErSehmi

You say you removed the older version but did you also remove the config files in /home/hts/.hts (uninstall does not do this)?

When you upgraded to the newer version it would have backed up your old config to ~/hts/.hts/backup and then upgraded your config. The older version will have issues with the newer config and will just exit (or crash :p).

You will either need to place your old config back from the backup the newer version made or completely remove the .hts directory and start again.

Hope this helps.

Also what problems did you have with the newer version, couldn't access the webui? If you couldn't access the webui it's probably because it was doing a one time backup of your config.
