Query: Regarding TBS6680 DVB-C Dual Tuner Cable TV Card with Dual CI Slot

Hi All,

I am from India, and I would like to watch digital cable tv on PC. And I have selected these TBS Cards:

So, I would like to know your view regarding these-

1) TBS6680 DVB-C Dual Tuner Cable TV Card with Dual CI Slot

2) TBS6618 DVB-C TV Tuner CI PCIe Internal TV Card HDTV/ MediaPortal/PayTV/Linux

We have Fastway Digital Cable Service Provider in India. And as far as I know my current cable set top box doesn't need CAM/CI Card to view cable channels.

Please check and confirm me can I able to run digital cable on my PC by using any of these. Also, please confirm me are they supported by TV Head End.

Is it possible to update MAC Address of this card from Windows/Linux?

Or is there any software/patch for this?

Since, in my country Cable TV Service Provider has provided their ownset top boxes CISCO dvb-c 3410. They are saying that they have activated cable tv service on the MAC address of the set top box they have provided.

So, I need to update the MAC address of this card with the MAC address of Cable TV Set top box. Please help!
