I've got one and generally speaking have had no issues that I can directly attribute to the card. The only thing I have ever seen is that once in a great while I'll get a recording that seems to have a timing issue, that makes it take a longer than normal time to do any forward or backward skips. However, I cannot say for certain that this was not a problem at the originating end, or that it has anything at all to do with the card. On most signals the card works very well, and will even receive and record certain "difficult" streams, provided you get sufficient signal strength from your dish and LNB. It's also well supported by TVHeadEnd.

The only thing I would caution you, and this is true for all TBS cards, is that you must install the TBS Linux drivers. Here are a couple of pages that may be useful in that regard:
