DVB-S recordings not starting up in recent builds

I'm not exactly sure when this started, sometime around build 900 would be dmy best guess, but I've had occasional programmes set to record in the last month that failed with the message "time missed". The last time it happened I was there to see it, and it looked like tvheadend was stuck on the epggrab. Whether the fault was in the priority system, or in a wait sequence in the epg module I couldn't say. I could watch the programme live (via the vlc plugin), but that didn't kick start the recording. It should have, because I was now tuned in to the right transponder, and I've simultaneously recorded and watched more than one channel from a transponder before now. Actually the only way to start recording was to abort the scheduled recording, delete it, then go in to the EPG tab and reschedule it. Just aborting wasn't enough, the delete was a necessary step.
For the moment I'm trying to tune in to the right channel via vlc just before the recording is due to start up, but it's not really a practical solution. And this only happens on my DCB-S2 tuner, not DVB-T. Has anyone else noticed this happening.
