multiple tuners

Hi,

I use 2 DVB cards, one which works a little better .... and i would like to know if it is possible to select a primary dvb card to use.

Hello Bibi,

It is possible. I am unsure what version of TvHeadend you are using, but if you go to the Configuration-tab, select DVB-Inputs and then TV-adapters you should see your tuners right there.

Every tuner listed there has a Priority, which is 0 by default. This means both tuners have 'equal priority'. If you give a tuner a higher priority number it will be picked later (!)

So, give your best tuner a priority of 0 and the other one a higher number. You could set this to 10, for example.

This should give you the behavior you are looking for.
