Where are muxes/services stored?

Running tvheadend with Hauppauge TVR850 (supports ATSC only, otherwise identical to 950Q, uses same drivers) in OpenELEC on RaspberryPi. Using "Tvheadend HTSP Client" as PVR client.
Have managed to manually map all the channels/services it found via the http interface, just to initial random numbers, but the frequencies shown in the services list don't match up with the channels being shown in Live TV, which is compounding the problem of putting in meaningful labels. (I know my local tv channels, which SID is on which VHF/UHF channel.) Also, there are channels I've renamed in the web interface that are still showing old name in Live TV channel list, which implies the exercise would be futile, anyway. (Yes, I've rebooted multiple times, powered off, and it still gets the same results.) It's like the frontend and backend are out of sync somehow, and each are working off of different lists.
(I think) I've uninstalled and reinstalled tvheadend and the messed-up channel list persists. Searching through the openelec directory structure via SSH and many attempts at googling the web have not found me the place(s) where the found services list(s) is(are) stored. I'd like to nuke them and start over without just starting with a fresh OpenELEC install. Or maybe see if I could see why the recorded broadcast frequencies are wrong.
I guess I should mention I'm using OpenELEC 4.0.2, but I was having similar problems with 3.2.4.
So after all that, here's my very simple question: In what file or files does tvheadend store that list of detected services/channels?
