TBS6280
Added by Perry Mitchell over 11 years ago
I'm of a mind to install tvheadend for a TBS6280 terrestrial receiver card to act as a backend for XBMC 'Frodo'. Having done it before for MythTV I like Adam's idea of blocking installation of all the unused drivers. I am NOT a programmer but I can cut and paste! I looked at his tbs6981.config file with a view to adding the 6280 as an allowed driver. Trouble is I cannot find the 6280 in it! There is a TBS62x0 mentioned - is that likely to be the one I need?
If I then just swap all references to the TBS6981 for the TBS6280 in his installation instructions, will I probably get a result?
I am a video engineer of advanced years so go easy on me for my ignorance!

OK - tried some obvious edits but none worked so I installed the lot!
So I appear to now have everything up and running in tvheadend , I can see the 6280(both tuners). I've given it a location and it shows the appropriate 7 mux signals (London CP on Freeview) at 100%. However, the 'Map DVB Services to channels' button is greyed out and doesn't do anything. The 'Muxes awaiting initial scan' is stuck on 7
As we say in UK - I've probably missed the bleedin' obvious'! Any help to progress much appreciated!
