DVB-C: OTA EPG is empty.
Added by Marius Dinu about 3 years ago
Hi. Please help me debug this problem.
I'm using tvheadened v4.2.8 on OpenWrt. I built it myself. The system is a Linksys WRT1900ACv1 router. I'm using a DVB-C USB tuner (Astrometa with Sony chip).
What works:
- I can see the DVB tuner.
- I can see the muxes list and scan them.
- I can see the services list.
- I can watch TV from the services list.
- I can map services to channels. I can see the channels in Channels/EPG list and watch them.
- I can see EIT DVB Grabber in EPG Grabber Modules list. It is enabled.
Doesn't work:
- EPG tab is empty.
- EPG Grabber Channels tab is empty.
- In Channels tab, I try to assign an EPG source to a channel, but the drop-down list is empty. There's nothing to select/assign.
- There are no messages in trace log about EPG, except loading/saving an empty EPG database on startup/shutdown. I used --trace dvb, epg, epggrab, epgdb
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Attached trace log with these options: --trace epg,epggrab,epgdb,tbl,tbl-base,tbl-eit,main,dvb,linuxdvb
Over-the-air EPG in TV adapters tab is enabled.
EIT DVB Grabber is enabled.
Re-run Internal EPG Grabbers does nothing. Nothing is printed in trace log when pressing it.
Trigger OTA EPG Grabber does nothing. Nothing is printed in trace log when pressing it.
