How to manually specify the LO frequency
Added by Bent Bagger over 5 years ago
Hi
I want to receive the 10.492 GHz transponder on the Es'hail-2 satellite at 26 deg east. My LNB is *not' an universal one. In the 'Configuration -> DVB Inputs' tab I have selected 'Advanced (non-universal LNBs, rot...)' for Satellite Configuration, but I can nowhere find any possibility to enter the LO frequency. How do I do that? I have searched both the Wiki and the Fora but not found anything relevant.
My Tvheadend setup is as per the Debian/Ubuntu installation instructions (https://tvheadend.org/projects/tvheadend/wiki/AptRepository) and is at version 4.2.8-23~g74cdf3f16.

After you have selected Advanced hit save. The page will refresh and Advanced will be in the tree on the left. Select Advanced and then enter the number of orbital postitions you will be configuring. Hit save again. When the page refreshed you can select an orbital position from the tree and there will be an LNB type option. You can only choose from predefined LNB types. I believe they have every type available. If not you'll need to submit a feature request to have your LNB type added.

I found out that Tvheadend easily handles a stream from DVBlast (as IPTV) so I have chosen that way out since we already had DVBlast installed.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
