Please help I have a maxtv receiver and the only output is HDMI, not a coax connection. Can you rest your computer and receiver with an HDMI cable and streamline programs in Tvheadend
Thank you

You need something to capture and encode it with, e.g. a capture card or network encoder.

Do you have a recommendation for a capture card for a PC to connect to a receiver with an HDMI cable?
Can I install on Windos 10 OS?
Thank you

There are loads online, I don't have a specific recommendation, but anything that can capture 1080p should do it.
I currently have two HS602-Ts (sold under many brands) [1] [2] that fits the bill but I haven't used them with tvh yet as I'm still writing the control software that's platform independent.

Tvheadend? sort of, but you're on your own with that as it's unsupported.
Capture device? Sure but it depends on the device.
Thank you
