Help needed for configuring as sat>ip client
Added by Heinrich Rebehn over 6 years ago
Hi all,
I am new to this forum and i would like to ask for some help setting up tvheadend as a sat>ip client.
I have a Kathrein EXIP 414, which works fine, allowing me to watch tv using tvizen on Android and EyeTV on Mac OS.
I also have a Raspberry Pi 3B which I would like to use as a sat>ip client for watching TV on my TV set.
For convenience I am first trying to configure tvheadend in a virtual linux machine under VMWare Fusion.
I installed Xubuntu-16.04.4 and tvheadend 4.2.5~xenial.
The EXIP is recognised immediately and I enabled 3 tuners with 4 positions each.
Next I created a network with type "IPTV Network".
I also created a Mux.
I took these steps from some tutorial on youtube, but it was about DVS-S adapters and some of the menus where quite different.
The problem now is: How do I scan for channels? If I do a "Force Scan" in the "Networks" tab the log says:
2018-03-27 08:08:58.688 mpegts: mux1 in satip - tuning on IPTV 2018-03-27 08:08:58.688 iptv: mux1 in satip - unsupported scheme [none]
Any help would be appreciated.
