Add users and permission

Added by Davide Composto about 7 years ago

Helllo! I state use tvheadend server on ubuntu server machine, I've create an *account to controll it (not verified-created during tvh installing). The problem is that I add an user, he can't access --> tvh client says server refused connection, while if i connect with the "*controll-account" (that i use to configure tvh) i can access. Could someone explain me how do add user and relative permissions? I have read the guide but i 'can't resolve. For example: it should possible create two users which will have access to two distinct NETWORKS (under dvb table) respectively?? thank you in advance

During installation is added user with will be used to run TVH for first time (or without users).
If users created then first user should be Admin and then regular users to be created.

The user options can be confusing tbh. It should be replaced or at least simplified.

It must be a first unskipable step in startup wizard.
or without it to have access only to users/password tabs.
