TvheadEnd with AVerTV Volar Green HD

Added by baptiste non about 9 years ago

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with my setup.
I am trying since one week to power on TvheadEnd, but to do that i have to use my AVerTV Volar Green HD ... which don't want to work :(

I have follow many threads regarding this key and it should be ok, my key seems to be correctly installed and recognised by my system and by TvheadEnd, but TvheadEnd don't find any channels. I have also tried with w_scan wich haven't been able to find anything.

Below is the result of the lsusb command :
nuc-desktop ~ # lsusb

And finally the result of my uname -a command :
nuc@nuc-desktop ~ $ uname -a
Linux nuc-desktop 3.13.0-24-generic #47-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 2 23:30:00 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am trying to check if it's working with w_scan, with this command :
w_scan -c FR -X > ~/channels.conf

But channels.conf stay empty :/

Do you have any idea regarding this issue ? Someone using this AVerTV Volar Green HD A835b ?
Maybe i have to upgrade my kernel ?

Thank you for reading.
