Sat>Ip and Diseqc
Added by bmm umm over 9 years ago
Hello I just use TvHeadend for 2 days now It's great. Currently I only recieve Astra 1 19'2° but I have a second Lnb which is setted up for Astra 2 28'0°.
I have seen this:
https://tvheadend.readthedocs.org/en/stable/webui/config_networks/
I know for sure that Astra 2 is recieveable with the Diseqc D (from A .. D).(From my reciever) Also the Elgato Sat>Ip app has no problems with it.
But I dont know what I can do anymore I setted Source Number for everything from 1-4(default is 0) and It still wont work... :(. Any ideas?

Have two LNBs on exactly the same sat positions with LNBs connected to a multiswitch connected to a SAT>IP server. Here how configured it...
(1) Under Configuration -> DVB Inputs -> Networks you should have two networks added, one for each satellite position / LNB
(2) Under Configuration -> DVB Inputs -> TV Adapters click on each of the (probably 4) tuner entries and make sure that satellite positions is set to (at least) 2 (as you want to address 2 LNBs via Diseqc). Don't forget to "enable" the tuners and don't forget to "save" once you have finalized the changes
(3) You might have to refresh your browser, but then you should see 2 satellite positions under each tuner in the list on the left
(4) Go through the positions, assign the correct network to the individual positions. In my case, I have got the Astra 19.2E network assigned to all the AA positions and Astra 28.E network to all the AB positions. Again, make sure that all positions are "enabled" and all changes are "saved". Easy to forget.
That's it. Rest should work "as usual".
Good luck.
