TVHeadend with mpd?
Added by Panzaeron - over 9 years ago
At my home, I'm using a selfmade multiroom setup with serveral mpd instances. Currently I use various Internetstreams as source and I try to use my TVHeadend-Setup to stream DVB-S Radiostations and playing these with mpd. With vlc it is not a problem to play the radio streams, but with mpd it dosen't work.
Has someone some experince with TVHeadend and mpd as "Frontend" or it is possible to transcode the Radiostreams from TVHeadend on the fly to be usable for mpd?

Thanks for your answer, but it dosen't worked for me.
From the channels.m3u I use the following radio stream URL (which works with VLC):
and in the mpd log I have the following error:
Jun 04 00:29 : player: played "http://tvh.ip:9981/stream/channelid/541275645?ticket=28103FE671BD23CFA5905726AA9ECAC9E46575D0&profile=matroska"
Jun 04 00:29 : ffmpeg/mp3: max_analyze_duration reached
Jun 04 00:29 : ffmpeg/mp3: Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate
Or if I use the following profile:
this results in the error:
Jun 04 01:00 : player: played "http://tvh-ip:9981/stream/channelid/541275645?ticket=5F8651E9AE2C80AC63974894B098A1E2E0104E4F&profile=MPEG-TS"
Jun 04 01:00 : ffmpeg/mp3: Header missing
Jun 04 01:00 : ffmpeg/mp3: max_analyze_duration reached
Jun 04 01:00 : ffmpeg/mp3: Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate
Jun 04 01:00 : ffmpeg/mp3: Header missing
Jun 04 01:00 : ffmpeg: decoding failed, frame skipped
Jun 04 01:00 : ffmpeg/mp3: Header missing
Jun 04 01:00 : ffmpeg: decoding failed, frame skipped
I tried the different streaming profiles, but with my mpd no one works, please, could you write your settings in TVHeadend which works?
