Dvbsky t680c can't find services
Added by Emil Högberg over 10 years ago
Hi!
I'm having issues finding services on my dvb-c network using my Dvbsky t680c card, i have to manually map muxes because my cable provider isn't available in the "map by location" menu.
the card works in windows when i use mediaportal, but because my server is running ubuntu server 14.04 i would prefer to use tvheadend.
i have installed all drivers for my tv-card following this guide http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVBSky
tvheadend finds my tv-card, and i can see that it gets reception on the muxes that i add but it won't find any services on them. am i missing something?
i have tried to just add one mux and let it scan on its own, but it dosnt find any other muxes that way..
my cable provider is Tele2, and i know that the muxes works because the work flawlessly in a windows laptop.
i have also tried on an other computer that runs xbmcbuntu and got the same results.
what can cause this? can it be permissions issues when i run "ls -l /dev/dvb" it gives me drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 140 maj 19 13:10 adapter0
and if i understand it correctly the group should be "video" ?
I'm unable to change the group to video by using chown, because it resets itself after reboot?
any ideas? have any one els got this tv-card working with tvheadend?
