Got a Dual DVB-S2 tuner card but can't record one channel whilst watching another

New to the TVHeadEnd/XBMC party with the latest versions of each.

Bought myself a TBS6981 pci-e dvb-s2 dual tuner tv card following recommendations and am happy watching FreeSat by Sky in the UK.

However we appear unable to record one channel whilst watching another.

This doesn't seem right?
