how to play recordings from Kodi's EPG?
Added by Richard Hemzal over 5 years ago
I do not know if this question belong to frontend or backend.
My observations are that is possible to access tvheadend recordings from Kodi EPG if this EPG record is cached by Kodi client.
However what is not possible to explain to tvheadend backend to provide for pvr.hts client EPG which time "stop" already passed! So if cache in client cleared there is no history in EPG before "now" time...
I am convinced that main reason is that backend throwing away all XMLTV records (internaly) with passed stop time simply away. Even Kodi/pvr.hts is ready for such records we cannot get them using pvr.hts because they simply not exist in backend after their time passed...
Is there way how to keep in tvheadend database also records which has time "stop" < "now" ? F.e. to tell backend to keep in EPG records couple days back?
Or there is some other arrangement which allow this?
BTW
I am aware about Channels - Limit EPG (days), it is unrelated to question becaus eis designed to keep retention only into +days, not back.
