As far as I know you cannot link XBMC to oscam.

You can link tvheadend to oscam. So, first thing to do would be to setup TVHEADEND and oscam so that it works. ( see for example https://tvheadend.org/boards/4/topics/8523 )

Only after that, you link XBMC to tvheadend.

i already have a oscam server and a card in there on a linux machine ( no sat or tv card )

that guide is all about installing oscam, i have that already?

When you installed it didn't you enter a username and password? if you've forgot you need to reconfigure the package. On debian/ubuntu it's 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure tvheadend' not sure about other OSes.

sorted mate i had to add -c on it

now i got in, just need to see how to link oscam and this together for xbmc

im running of a pc, would it be better to do on a vu ?
