Tvheadend

I pretty much never use the EPG in the XBMC frontend, as the only way to exit seems to be cursor left * 10^6 until the menu pops up. There has to be a better way! Is there some other way to get out of the EPG [obviously Esc works, but then if you select Live TV again you're just as stuck].
