Tvheadend+CCcam: Viaccess is not supported?
Added by sami abdullah about 13 years ago
Hi,
I tried most of the encryption systems and all of them work except Vaccess? Tvheadend says trying to decode but I check my CCcam server
and there are no keys requeted by tvheadend. I tried VDR and all work fine.
I really hope it is some thing that could be corrected because viaccess is important for me.
my Setup: Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit plus CCcam 2.1.3(tried 2.1.1 also). Any idea guys? Thanks.
Best Regards,
Sami

I did some more testing... I made an oscam client to my CCcam server and made a line from Oscam to tvheadend... and now the strange thing is that Viaccess channels open
So it is something to do with the camd.socket created by the capmt.ca.so which I think is broken for viaccess. I hope it is going to be corrected becuase I think I lose
a hop down the road using this method.

Sami

Seca too does not work using the capmt server. It does work though via the control word method.
Am I the only one experiencing such a thing?!! It is strange there is not a single topic about these situations!
