BISS Decryption Problem on NERIT Channels
Added by Adam W over 9 years ago
Hi,
I'm getting a strange error with BISS decryption on certain channels in 3.9.2827. The NERIT services on the 3.1E satellite are encrypted with BISS/constantcw but have no ECM PID so show up as not encrypted. On it's own this is OK as in Edit service we can force CA ID, which I have done and set to 0x2600 (BISS). I have keys added as DES constant codeword client in the CAs section, and the channels are clearing successfully (N, NPlus, N HD).
However, the video is breaking up as if there is poor signal quality, with errors in the log that imply the same:
2015-05-24 16:53:40.815 TS: Eutelsat 3B/12734V/N HD: H264 @ #141 Continuity counter error (total 543)
But, there is no signal quality problem as the Vouli channel on the same frequency (but unencrypted) plays fine with no errors.
There are other Greek BISS channels on the same satellite, which have their encryption flags set properly. With keys added in the same way these play fine with no video error.
I've attached a dump of the transponder with the issues. Bug #2379 also related to these channels in terms of decrypting them.
