Need some help with importing an XLMTV file into TVHeadEnd
Added by Skye Cairns almost 6 years ago
I'm a REAL newbie so bare with me. I've just got TVHeadEnd up and and running but I'd like to move my XLMTV file epg.xml somewhere so I can import the EPG. I'm kinda of lost on how to do that. In the EPG Grabber Modules am I suppose to see an Internal XLMTV choice? I don't see anything but some pay services and alot of countries other than my own (Canada). What do I need to do to get my EPG.XML up and running and where am I suppose to put it. I'm really brand new to linux so if you could be really detailed i'd appreciate that. Thanks for any help.

Zap2it covers Canada as well as the USA so you could use zap2xml - see https://freetoairamerica.wordpress.com/2014/12/03/some-hints-for-getting-free-to-air-satellite-channels-into-the-electronic-program-guide-in-kodi-or-xbmc-or-another-frontend/ and if you have more questions, ask!
