[SOLVED] Time issues on EPG

Added by Philip Deubner over 9 years ago

  1. Edit: I don't really know why, but I now got it working. What I did was do disable EIT, set the ISO to 8895-1, stop thheadend service, deleted the epg database and enabled tvheadend again.
It now works like a charm.

------------------------------
Good morning,

due to this forum, I was able to set up my TVHeadend 3.9 on top of a Debian 7 system (using OMV as administrative panel). It is running and nearly working as it should.
This "nearly" refers to the EPG data, which is collected by a XMLTV setting (epgdata.com).
The problem I have is that when taking a look into the EPG data in the webUI, the data seems to be 2 hours off. A programm, being aired at 8 p.m., is shown to be aired at 6 p.m.. As the time detection works as it should, I only see TV shows that should be aired two hours later.
When checking "date" via the console, it shows right time and date in CEST time zone. I tried to use different EIT settings, but this didn't work.
I can still imagine that the BIOS time could be a show stopper, as it also has an offset of two hours. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to have system time and BIOS time on the same level - so if you know, kindly give me a hint.
Thank you for your feedbacks/ hints/ recommendations,
br,

Connor
